My art journey started at 10 with cartooning. Warner Bros., Disney, Hanna-Barbara, Walter Lantz and Hank Ketchum were my muses. Pencil, pen and ink were my tools.
Surrealistic work from the late 60's with rapidograph pen followed. Watercolor workshops with Jade Fon, Gerald Brommer, George Gibson, Tom Nicholas, Jane Burnam, Tony Couch and countless others continued while I taught instrumental music at junior high school.  Retirement allows further exploration of my artistic goals.
Traveling with sketchbook in hand I draw often. I do value sketches with markers for their directness and  work with watercolor for true expression.
Neo-impressionism, blended colors, warm pallette are my techniques of choice. I experiment with all media.
